Taking the Mature Entrance Examination
The annual Mature Entrance Examination is jointly administered by the Truman Bodden Law School and the University of Liverpool’s Law School.The examination is offered at the Truman Bodden Law School in July of each year. Subject to putting in place suitable supervision arrangements, it may be possible for international applicants (at their own expense) to sit the examination locally in their own country.
The Mature Entrance Examination consists of a researched essay on a legally related topic and lasts for one and one half hours. Questions will be available for collection from the Law School seven days prior to the date of the examination. Candidates will be permitted to bring into the examination printed (not hand written) notes of your research conducted during this period, which are not to exceed 250 words in length. Your notes will be checked in the examination room and if they are found to exceed the permitted number of words they will be taken from you.
Prior examination question papers are available upon request only after an application along with supporting fees has been submitted. Further information concerning the date of this year’s examination and copies of past question papers are available from the Law School.
